Ski holidays Valfréjus - La Norma - Aussois

In French western Alps lies the picturesque Maurienne valley, surrounded by the majestic 3,000-metre peaks of the Vanoise massif. Here is the source of the river Arc, that softly winds through the Haute Maurienne and it's side valleys. The valley is relatively easily reached via the large and also beautiful mountain passes Col de l'Iseran and Col du Mont Cenis. The regions offers first-class skiing in some of the best-known ski areas world-wide, also extensive hiking trails and wonderful relaxation in the natural surroundings. It is not for no reason that the Vanoise was declared a national park in 1963 to protect it's diverse flora and fauna. The Haute Maurienne is also known for the biathlon competitions which take please here every year.

La Norma

At an altitude of 1,350 m, the pleasant village of La Norma lies directly between the Massif de la Vanoise and the Valley of l'Arc in the Savoy Alps.
