Ski area Val di Fassa-Carezza

The included lift pass "Val di Fassa-Carezza" comprises 110 kilometres of piste and 39 lifts between altitudes of 1,200 and 2,625 m in the areas of Alba, Canazei, Campitello, Lago di Carezza, Pozza and Vigo. From Canazei you have direct access to the ski areas Belvedere/Col Rodella, with 39 kilometres of piste, as well as fun & snow parks incl. boarder cross. In kids’ land, the little ones can try out skis for the first time and are catered for in the nearby crèche. The predominantly medium difficulty pistes are not too challenging and are sun-drenched. Countless terraces are dotted around the resort where you can soak the rays and chill! Those with stamina should head to the 8.5 km long descent from Sas Becé to Canazei, free riders on the other hand should make their way to Sass Pordoi; the deep snow is divine. With the lift pass “Dolomiti Superski“ (for an extra charge), you can use the 1,200 km of piste and 450 lifts in 12 ski areas! The Sellaronda is included here, with its 40 km long circuit that circumnavigates the Sella Massif with ski and lift. You can directly access this from Canazei.

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

Après ski Canazei

Canazei is Val di Fassa's pleasure centre. Towards the end of the ski day, apres ski starts before you've even changed gear. The first stop is "Lieber Augustin", still in your ski boots. Afterwards, the atmosphere in the "Bar Oma" or "Enoteca Valentini" sky-rockets. "Husky Pub" is famous for live music, from blues to rock. If you're looking for total relaxation after scores of piste, head to the EGHES spa centre. Based on Roman thermals, there are a number of baths in order to take advantage of the water's therapeutic effects. For more leisure activities aside from the piste, you will find a wide variety of activities available. Whatever you are looking for - be it a stroll through the wintery landscape or a snowshoe hike, kite flying or paragliding or, for the very brave, an exciting ice climbing session - everybody will find something according to their taste.
