Ski area Hochstein/Zettersfeld

With the lift pass "SkiHit" you have access to 202 km of piste (incl. ski routes) in eight different ski areas: Großglockner Resort, St. Jakom im Defereggental - Brunnalm, Silian/Hochpustertal, Kartitsch, Lienz, Obertilliach, Mölltaler Gletscher, and Ankogel (see ski region).

The connection between the ski areas Matrei and Kals is known as the Großglockner Resort (933 - 2,426 m) with 40 km of piste and 16 lifts, making it the largest in Eastern Tyrol. From Matrei (approx. 27 km) you have easy access to this area.

But also the two local ski areas of Lienz, Hochstein and Zettersfeld (668 - 2,278 m), provide family-friendly skiing on about 33 km of pistes and are also easily accessible from the resort centre of Lienz. Numerous diverse descents for beginners and ambitious skiers provide great moments in front of a magnificent backdrop of the Lienz Dolomites.

The 400 m long fun slope in Zettersfeld, with 16 different elements like waves, curves and jumps, promises plenty of fun. If you need even more diversity, just go out and explore the other ski areas within the region and enjoy the unique piste offers and the wonderful mountain panorama.

Unfortunately, the upper Hochstein 3 T-bar lift cannot open in the 24/25 winter season.
