Cross-country Umhausen

Umhausen-Niederthai offers cross-country skiing fans 31 kilometres of trails at over 1,500 metres above sea level, which have even been awarded the Tyrolean Cross-Country Trail Quality Seal. The cross-country trail network offers the right conditions for all levels of difficulty free of charge and includes both classic and skating trails. In the whole Ötztal valley there are even 143 kilometres of trails for cross-country skiing pleasure.

If you would like to experience cross-country skiing in a different way, you can also enjoy the illuminated cross-country ski runs "Tellerboden" and "Frühloipe" in the evening from Monday to Friday. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, cross-country skiers can also enjoy the illuminated "Ötzidorfrunde" in Umhausen until 22:00 in the evening.
