Night skiing Umhausen

In the ski areas "Sölden" and "Obergurgl-Hochgurgl", skiing fun does not end early on some evenings.

In Sölden every Wednesday, from January to March, night skiing takes place on four illuminated and freshly groomed slopes. Those who have already unbuckled their skis can enjoy the unique night ski show with ski acrobatics, live performances and subsequent fireworks.

On Tuesdays you can explore an 8 km long piste in Obergurgl by floodlight and experience a stage show of a special kind. In Hochgurgl the night owls have the choice between a red piste illuminated by the floodlight or spectacular toboggan run action.

Après ski Umhausen

If you haven't had enough action after skiing, you can try ice climbing in the Ötztal valley or take a chance on one of the partly illuminated toboggan runs. In addition, the dreamy ice rink in the centre of Umhausen is an ideal place to do a few laps on skates or to try out ice curling.

For those who prefer to relax, there are numerous winter hiking trails or the nearby thermal spa "Aqua Dome" in Längenfeld.

Additionally, there is also a lot to experience culturally in and around Umhausen: The "Ötzi Dorf" in Umhausen, for example, offers an interesting journey 5,000 years back into the past. From one of the viewing platforms of the Stuibenfall you can enjoy an unforgettable view when it is illuminated almost mystically during the evening hours.

Party atmosphere can be found in the umbrella bars as well as in the many clubs, bars and pubs in the nearby party metropolis of Sölden. The "Fire and Ice" or "Katapult" are just a few of the big names among the numerous party hubs. Here really every après-ski fan will find what they are looking for!

Snowpark: Area47 - Snowpark Sölden / quattro Snowpark Obergurgl Umhausen

In addition to the freeride and deep snow areas, the "Area47- Snowpark Sölden", the "quattro Snowpark Obergurgl" and other fun parks and slopes, spread over the other ski areas in the Ötztal valley, with ramps, rails and jumps, will provide action-packed variety on the piste, which snowboarders in particular will be delighted about. In addition, music and deck chairs round off the freestyle fun.
